This compact and versatile filter is capable of filtering 290 gallons of water per hour. The self-priming, submerged motor means quick and easy startup. Its dual-chamber, refillable media chambers house carbon or customizable filter media. Includes Marineland Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon and a Marineland Rite-Size JH Floss Sleeve. Replace the filter every two to four weeks (replacement filters sold separately); clean the micron cartridge monthly.Clean, sparkling water is the mark of a healthy, thriving aquarium.
