- 1/4 MILE EXTREME LONG RANGE, thanks to our unique LoRa-based wireless system. LoRa, short for Long Range is a new technology, superior to WiFi and older RF types, in range and obstruction-penetration. Capable of covering multiple floors, as well as multiple buildings on large properties.
- THAT WAS EASY! Be up and running in minutes, with the Hub’s convenient Plug, Plug & Play setup, and our super-fast Scan & Play QR code-scanning method of adding devices to the app. The Motion Sensor installs in moments and requires no tools, thanks to the built-in magnet. Mount the sensor directly to any metal surface, or use the included metal disc and 3M brand mounting tape. Couldn’t be easier!
- DOUBLE-DUTY! Your YoLink Motion Sensor can be configured to automate lighting while you are home, and protect against intrusion while you are away! Add Door Sensors, a Siren Alarm, and control your system from the app or use one of our smart fobs to arm and disarm your security system. Add one of our light switches and use the motion sensor to turn on lights when you enter the room, and turn them off later if no motion is detected.
- KNOW NOW! You have many options for being notified of device activity! Receive a text, receive an email, receive a phone push notification (including Apple phone “Critical Alert” severe weather/Amber alert type notifications that will activate your phone even if in silent mode. Android phones offer similar functionality, depending on phone manufacturer). SMS messages are limited to the total of 5 times each device plus 5. A hub and two motion sensors provides you with 20 free SMS per month.
- NO WIFI WORRIES! Many smart home products are WiFi-based, which appears convenient, but each WiFi device on your network is a security risk (a way for hackers to get into your home network). Not to mention, as you add more devices, your WiFi gets bogged down. YoLink devices do NOT connect to your WiFi, they connect only to the Hub, which connects them to the cloud.
- NO INTERNET, NO POWER, NO PROBLEM! Our unique Control-D2D device-to-device pairing allows for creating links between devices, so that they will operate when needed, even if the internet and power is down!
